His life was tragically cut short by a senseless act of violence. The purpose of this site is to spread the word about this unjust lost, and to keep friends and family updated on the status of the investigation and trial. Please return for updates.
The hearings re-convened on June 01. The State continued its presentation of evidence, from Police witnesses. One of the arresting officers, testified that the accused were apprehended at the corner of Park and Edward Streets. They were read their rights, after which, the officers proceeded to collect forensic evidence, including clothing, saubs, and bagging of the accused hands. He said that they were very co-orporative when asked for their clothing, and to bag their hands. Lashawn commented that "my hand must have powder if I held the gun!" The officer said that he cautioned her that anything she said would have to be written down as a statement.
ReplyDeleteThe State focused on presenting forensic evidence and may continue to do the same when the hearing resumes on June 10, 2009.
